Stage II- First Granulation of Materials – HR 125

The raw materials will be granulated by the Heavy Rasper 125, which will chop the wires to required sizes.
Stage III – Separation of Ferrous Metal/ Wires
The granulated material will go through a conveyor belt with magnet to remove the ferrous metal/ wires. The semi-clean material will then be conveyed into a storage Hopper – V4.
Stage IV – Storage of Chopped Wires – V4
The V4 acts as a storage hopper and it also regulates the flow of the materials out onto another conveyor.
Stage V – Second Granulation of Materials – HR 1207
The regulated flow of granulated materials is then transported by conveyor belting into a Rasper – HR1207. Here the materials are further ‘Chopped’ and granulated to reduce sizes and go through another conveyor belt with magnets to further remove the iron metallics. The material is then fed into a Buffer hopper -BF3.
Stage VI – Regulation of Chopped Wires/ Copper Flakes
The BF3 is a high tension carbon conveyor. The flow of materials here is regulated and allowed to flow out to another conveyer which again has another magnet at the end for further removal of iron metallic.
Stage VII – Third Granulation Process
The process continues as the down-sized materials flow into two fine granulators. These two granulators will fine grind the materials and remove the plastic from the wires completely. The processed materials will then be transported by pneumatic air in pipes into two silos (storage) via two cyclones. The materials will then flow into a SMO. This SMO will regulate the flow of materials into a screw conveyor which conveys the materials onto the separation table.
Stage VIII – Separation of Copper/ Aluminium/ Plastics
The separation table has a very fine mesh and is operated at a high-speed vibration with pneumatic air blown from the bottom. Since the plastic dust and aluminium is much lighter than the copper, it will be ‘sucked’ up by the suction tube. While the copper flakes remain and flow out onto a conveyer belting, this again has two more magnets to ensure that the final product – copper flakes is clean, pure and complies with the specification for export.
Stage XI – Quality Control and Packing
Very stringent quality control of the finished goods is done by the quality control department. Any rejects will immediately be taken back for re-processing. All finished goods are packed and weighed before they are sent for shipment by freight forwarders for the export markets.
